The 2009 Tiara is a blend of three vineyards. Cool foggy weather in most of 2009 made it an excellent year for Sauvignon Blanc. This is the first vintage from the Baker vineyard and its lovely musque character contributes to the graceful fruity aromas and flavors. 40% of the wine was barrel fermented and the rest cold fermented in tank. It was blended together in mid November and spent the rest of its time in barrels.
