The lower section of the vineyard is cooler and allows flavors to build, where the upper slope adds complexity and exotic flavors of black currants, deep red cherries, blackberries, raspberries and a subtle hint of cocoa . The weight and intensity of this wine is remarkable. A wine with the heft of a tank and the grace of an angel. Aged in French oak for 16 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
