The 2011 Peacock is big yet supple wine. Notes of herb and spice blanket the nose while the pallet is rich and structured. Due the to the cooler than normal weather during this vintage, the wine has a balanced feel to it. The tannins are smoother than other vintages they are supple and soft. The wine is concentrated with dark fruit flavors, notes of oak, herb, and spice. The finish is long and smooth.
